The Stake Temple Night:
Of course this session of stake conference was great. We definitely would not have missed this. Last stake conference we had about 300 members present and President Suhaka wanted more to come this time. I don’t know how many were there, but there was standing room only in the back of the chapel. The talks were wonderful at the chapel session.
But the most wonderful experience for me was having the endowments completed for 18 of my ancestors. I took 14 cards for female ancestors and Merlin took 14 cards for male. Merlin was able to turn in only four cards, but Joyce Brown and I were able to give out all of my cards. We were just lucky. I think there is a rule about only submitting 3 cards during a stake session. Probably because they feel that everyone will be bringing cards to submit, so they have to limit the number one person can offer so everyone will have opportunity.
Anyway, I was truly inspired and encouraged by the wonderful talks at stake conference and most especially at our temple session. Being able to have 18 of my ancestor’s endowments completed during our stake temple session was better than chocolate.
